At Hamilton Health Sciences, our genetic counsellors provide information and support to individuals and families about inherited conditions and genetic testing options. They assess genetic risks based on personal and family history, help interpret test results, and guide decision-making around health care and family planning. They also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive appropriate care and follow-up.
Our Genetic counsellors make a tangible difference in our patients’ lives, especially through personalized care and support, during emotionally complex situations.
