The innovative Diagnostic Services team at Hamilton Health Sciences is comprised of over 600 members, making it one of the largest in Canada. This team works across our multiple sites in the Greater Hamilton and Niagara regions, providing service 24 hours a day, seven days a week in most areas.
Our Nuclear Medicine Technologists are a vital part of this team. You will work with state-of-the-art scanners and software to support patient care in cardiology, nephrology, oncology and endocrinology at our Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, and McMaster University Medical Centre.

Education requirements
Completion of a medical radiation and imaging technology program in the specialty which meets one of the criteria set out by the CMRITO
Registration requirements
- Registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO) in Nuclear Medicine and fulfilling the annual required continuing education
- Registered with Sonography Canada (RDMS) and fulfilling the annual required continuing education as per CMRITO
