Hamilton Health Sciences proudly participates in the Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program in various programs throughout our system. During the 12-week program, all orientation shifts are precepted. This provides new nurses the opportunity to build a solid foundation in your knowledge, skills and judgement, and focus on specific learning goals as you transition to practice and employment.

Obtained your credentials from the College of Nurses of Ontario within 12 months (one year)
Registration requirements
Obtained your credentials from CNO within 12 months (one year)

Highlights
All nurses who participate in the NGG program receive no less than 450 orientation hours, which includes classroom education, precepted shifts and other opportunities for growth and development.
This program is a great opportunity for recent nursing graduates or nurses who are new to Ontario to gain experience and confidence in the transition to employment.
Working with an experienced nurse mentor and our expert team of educators, nurses in the NGG program have an opportunity to collaborate on and develop individual learning plans.
